PostSubject: USDAF Recruit Basic Training Script   Sat Oct 31, 2009 2:05 pm

Use this training guide to train all Recruits. Make sure you read it word, for word.

Hello, and welcome to the United States Department of the Armed Forces or USDAF for short, Basic training. I am (Rank), (Name), and I will be your instructor for this course. During this training, you may not TALK or MOVE unless told so by me. There will be designated times for questions, so please hold them, until I say you may ask. Now, any questions before we start?

I. Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is a set of rules that the USDAF is governed by. You bust abide by these rules at all times, while in the HQ. Now, please read the first two yellow/blue/green/purple stickies, and stand when done. Good, you may be seated. Remember to follow these rules at ALL times.
Any questions about the Code of Conduct?

II. Ranks

There are certain ranks in the USDAF, that divide into 6 categories.
First,
Enlisted - This is you, your main job is to come to the HQ, everyday, and sit in the front row, and recruit, by helping members join. You speak to them directly, and properly. For example. Hello! Welcome to the USDAF, (Name), how may I help you? You also are required to help them with specific details

Non-Commissioned Officer - Their main job, is to come to HQ everyday, and sit in the front and recruit, as well as Guard the Gate, and participate in training exercises.

Senior Non-Commissioned Officer - The SNCO's main job, is to watch over the HQ, and keep order among the Enlisted, and the NCO. They are required to train, and Guard the Gate.

Warrant Officer - WO's deal with discipline within the HQ. They keep order among the Enlisted, NCO, and SNCO. They make sure that they are behaving. WO's also start to sub manage billets in the USDAF.

Commissioned Officer - CO's main job, is to watch over all the HQ, and to keep it in order at all times. They manage all the billet's, and report only to the Cabinet members.

Flag Grade Officer - Flag Grade Officers are the head of the USDAF, they handle Intelligence, Liaison, Warfare, and more. They are the highest ranks, of the USDAF.

Now, any questions on the ranks? Ok, good, moving on.

III. Head Quarter Procedures

In the HQ, we have certain procedures that should be followed at all times. Please read the last yellow/blue/green/purple sticky, and stand then done. Ok, good, you may be seated.

Entry Procedure

This is one of THE most important procedures. It is how we keep control of who gets in and out of the HQ. it works like follows.

Step 1: You stand in front of the Gate or the Gate Guard.
Step 2: The Guard will move to the side, you will wait until he/she stops moving.
Step 3: You will take THREE steps into the HQ until you are ONE SQUARE behind the black mat. You will wait there.
Step 4: You wait until the Guard returns to his/her position INSIDE the gate.
Step 5: Once the guard is inside the gate, you mat sit down.

Attention/Attention on Deck Procedure

One of them is the Attention Procedure. This procedure is followed, when a Officer walks into the room. When this happens, the highest rank in the front row/MOD, will stand and say, ATTENTION! or ATTENTION ON DECK! {if in the Navy}. At this point, you will, stand one space in front/behind your seat, shut your mouth, don't move, and don't click ANYONE. Is this clear? Good, now let's try. (Practice Attention Procedure)

FTF/FTM/FTB, Procedure
Alright, moving on. Can someone tell me what FTF means? (Fill the front) Good! Now, when someone tells you to FTF, you will go, and sit in the front row, which is the one, closest to the door. Same goes for FTM/FTB, you will go, and sit in these rows. (Practice FTF/FTM/FTB)

File Up/File Down
The next procedure, is probably the easiest procedure. The File Up/File Down procedure. Basically what this means, is when you are in the front row, and someone tells you to file up, you will scoot one space, towards the VIP area. And just the oppisite for File Down.

GG(Gate Guarding) Procedure
The GG'ing procedure is when you get to the rank of Corporal. So, when you are Corporal+, you will be asked to Guard the Gate. Guarding the Gate basically means that you stand inside the gate, and only let authorized personnel inside, the HQ. (Practice GG'ing)

Front and Center Procedure(F&C)
The F&C Procedure is a Procedure done when an Officer want to give you a promotion/demotion/wants your attention. When done, the Officer will call the HQ to Attention, and call your name to F&C. At this point you will move from your spot and go and stand directly infront of the Officer. Face him. Then you will wave, and say SIR!/MA'AM!. The Officer will then start talking. When he is done, he will then say, "Dismissed". Then, you will wave, and say SIR!/MA'AM!, again. Then you will go back to your seat, and remain at Attention, until the Officer says At ease.

BTB Procedure
BTB stands for Back to Base. When someone tells you to do that, you do exactly what it means. You will go back to the HQ. Simple.

IV. Graduation

Congratulations, you have completed the USDAF basic training. When you get back to the HQ, you will sit in the front row, and you will recruit, by helping people join.

If Army their motto's are: [US Army] Private [T]

Ok, good. now, BTB, using the Hotel Navigator

- End of Basic Training.

When done, post the Recruits name and trainer, on the PERSCOM board. Thank you.
