This is the step-by-step guide for any instructor running the Combat tag training.
Anything in white print is what you say exactly to the Cadets.
Hello, and Welcome to the Military Combat Training. I am (Rank then Name) and I will be your instructor for this course. Please hold all questions until I ask for them and as always do not MOVE or TALK unless called upon or told to.
Section 1: Explanation
Everyone please partner up.
Combat is done is a series of words or combat actions. You fight by "saying what you are doing".
-Puts on fighting stance-
That is an example of a combat action.
In order to win a fight depends on how fast you can correctly type.
There are three steps to wining. You need to first "READY" yourself, then you "MOVE" towards the opponent, then you "EXECUTE" a fighting move. You need to fill these three before your opponent. However, your opponent may do counter attacks and movements. However you can't just say -knocks you out- or -puts you to sleep- you need to give your opponent the chance to react. So if your throwing a punch it takes up two lines:
-Throws punch towards you-
-punch hits you in the face-
Same thing with a kick, or block. It takes at least two lines to execute an action move that harms your opponent
-Puts on fighting stance-
-Runs towards you-
-Puts you in head lock-
That was just an example of a simple combat action. However, your opponent can do something as well.
-Puts on fighting stance-
-Waits for you-
-legs sweeps you-
They could counter your attack. You win by having you opponent in a vulnerable position and saying -out-
Now its your turn, with your partner work through various scenarios and have some fun with it. Go Ahead, Begin.
Give them 5 or so minutes to play around. Then award them with a {C} tag to add to their motto.
The order goes like so:
Military, Rank, Billet/Promo tag, Training Tag, Medal and Awards.
